Your Weekly Online Golf Lesson To Improve Your Approach Shots
Your Weekly Free Online Golf Lesson That Will Improve Your Approach Shots
Your online golf lesson has to do with your approach shots. You know your game is getting better when you start placing more ball marks on the green.
To enhance your approach shots, follow the tips below :
Aim for the middle of the green, not the flag. Pin placements and greens are getting more difficult to stick all the time. Do not be a sucker and go for a pin that you may most likely miss, and will most likely leave you in a bunker or some other position and destroy your round.
These two online golf lesson tips can result in a serious improve in your approach shots, as well as your game in general.
And, as you are probably aware, it’s not a simple task to master the approach shot, but there are some ways you can significantly improve the accuracy of your shot. Most golfers don’t practice their alignment too much on the practice range, but they really need to.
Think about this. Typically , when you’re off the green it is usually due to alignment, not distance. Chances are, you have your 160 yard club, 150, 140, 130, for example. And if you hit a poor shot, the ball may go a little further or a little shorter. But even if that occurs, most greens are deep enough so that you will still be on the putting surface if you have selected the club that would leave you in the center of the green.
But, alignment is another story. If you pull the ball, and your alignment is off, it’s off by far more than 5-10 yards! And if you push the ball, you generally are pushing it for the complete round, correct? Bunkers, water, and uneven lies are the obstacles you are facing.
So how are you supposed to compete? The answer is simple. Practice your alignment. And then when you get done practicing, practice some more. O.K , that about does it for todays online golf lesson.

Improve Golf Swing – How To
The media is flooded with ads for golf instructors, advice on golf, golfing schools and self-help material. Wherever you look there seems to be somebody at hand to teach you how to improve golf swing and to get the proper golf swing. But first you have to get a few things sorted out before you go about accepting any of these helps offered.
Separating The Good From The Bad
Like any other game, repetitive practice is the best method to improve at golf. You also have to use the correct posture. What the best form is, is the tricky part of the whole exercise. Can you find it and if you did find it how do you go about acquiring it? What is most saddening is that there are a lot of golfers who call themselves experts and an equal number of unproven techniques. Apply the wrong advice and your swing, whatever you had in the beginning, is bound to take a bad turn.
But what are golf instructors there for, if not to correct your mistakes and show you how to get that proper golf swing. Just as it is difficult to get out of bad habits, it is equally important that you do not develop new ones. If you happen to have got bad advice, you will first have to unlearn it before you can get on to the good ones. And to make matters worse, some of these bad advices could cause physical harm putting an end to your golfing ambitions.
Finding Genuine Advice
There is no hard and fast rule to recognize bad advice but some advice should ring an alarm bell. Good advice is good for you and so scout around. Make contact with those players who have had a certain instructor or have benefited from a certain technique.
Research the credentials of any instructor and find out if he plays a good game. Check to see if he has had a formal education in sports medicine. A golf instructor with no training in sports medicine may recommend some training instructions without realizing the potential dangers involved even though they may mean well.
Managing The Tangibles
For any training exercise to be effective there should be a goal. What is the goal for a golf training activity? It should not be something like “you’ll have better form” or “your game will improve” or any such vague aim. Goals should be measurable. In golf measurable goals could be the distance travelled by the ball, increased ball speed or accuracy in the flight of the shot.
A few of the problems faced by you might be due to the hardware that you are using. Check to see that the club you are using corresponds to your height. See that you are wearing the appropriate shoes for a game of golf and that they fit properly. Even your clothing should be right. Practice in settings that hinder your movements is also a must because you may come across such situations.
Keep Your Attitude Towards The Game Healthy
Golf is a game that requires an attitude. It is also a game with a lot of dependency on the psychology of the player. As such your attitude towards the game has to be improved also. Figure out the kind of personality that you are and what your attitude towards the game is. Develop the mental traits that you need to get a proper golf swing. As this is a major stumbling block for a majority of athletes, there is nothing to be ashamed of.
If you follow the advice mentioned you will not only improve your game, you will also improve yourself also in the bargain.
